How many children has this old tree spoken with over the years? Even as its environment changes, that dialogue continues. When the “tree” becomes “wood,” and is transformed into furniture, tools, or musical instruments, the conversation does not cease. Through dialogue with nature and with objects, people learn, develop a sense of care, and are gifted with inner richness. This work is based on the concept of capturing the invisible wind, translating its movement into visible form, and creating a dialogue with it. For example, like semaphore signals, it conveys messages carried by the wind. Just as this land is home to its own ancient trees, it is also shaped by winds unique to this place.
