It is not the clouds seen in the narrow sky between buildings, nor the houseplants growing in air-conditioned pots. It is the clouds over the meadows that stir the imagination into seeing human faces or animals, and the plants that let us sense the flow of the seasons and of time. That is the kind of sculpture I hope it to be. |
