It is neither the clouds in the narrow strip of sky glimpsed between tall buildings, nor the potted plants cultivated under air conditioning. Rather, it is like the clouds drifting over open fields that stir our imagination into seeing faces or animals, and like the plants that let us feel the passing of the seasons and the flow of time. That is the kind of sculpture I wish it to be. |
